I was just going to remind folks of this. I've been looking forward to this one. I don't know a lot about Sylvester overall.

I need a DVD of alllll the episodes. Torrents and Youtube are failing me.

Interesting story. I kind of expected a lot of it, just because a lot of those types of stories are similar. But it was still good, regardless.

I really enjoyed this episode of Unsung.... I've been meaning to pick up his book after reading excerpts on amazon... his early days was something else

I just finished watching some of it. I tried but i just
never was a fan of his music so the documentary just didn't
really interest me. I'm ready for Stacy Lattisaw in 2 weeks.

The last part that I saw was interesting. It's repeating a couple of times more so I'll see the entire thing. Just got busy and forgot to watch. I loved Sylvester back in the day and knew quite a bit of his history. I remember seeing him on one of the late night shows when he had gotten a ring from the guy he wanted to marry. He was so excited. It wasn't long before he was gone. It was good to see his people from the old days especially Martha Wash ("...them girls don't need no 'jew'ries,' them girls can 'sang!' ")

My mom loved Sylvester! She met him a couple of times at the nail salon (my mom and one of the Weather Girls got their nails done at the same place) and we used to live about a couple of blocks away from The Love Center

I wish I could see this. I'm a huge Sylvester fan.

Best Unsung since the first season. He lived only 41 years, but what a life.
