i googled him and noticed he has a song called
'I Got The Feeling It's Over'

He had a single out last year called "Baby Mama". He's stayed active in the business.

Let him stay where he is.
I liked his first song "Gotta Get You Home With Me Tonight" but I absolutely hated the extremely overplayed "Shake You Down". Ooops, I just remembered that was Eugene Wilde, not Gregory Abbott. Nevermind.

My mom told me at the time he made that last album because his father was sick and needed to get a hit in the industry to help him...something to that effect..I dont know where she heard that from.. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
