Björky

Hello all. I'm having a crazy day at work and the only thing keeping me sane right now is "Homogenic." I had to get that off my chest. Thanks.

Homogenic was pretty much my favorite album ever. Until Vespertine came out. I love how emotional Homogenic is. Raw, distorted, beautiful, confrontational, and stripped. She just keeps getting better and better doesn't she?

Yes, although while I am more impressed with Vespertine, I listen to the old stuff more.

Vespertine is the real masterpiece.
Sonically beautiful,layered...stark and breathtaking like winter.

I only listen to Vespertine in small doses as well. I find that I can't even talk when it's on. It's so beautiful it almost hurts and I can only handle that kind of intensity once in awhile.

Homogenic is breathtaking. It's so raw that it isn't something that I can listen to very often (like Vespertine, but for different reasons). Homogenic some killer B-sides as well. "Scary" is a classic.
