I just discovered this young dude's music a few hours ago, after reading he was recruited and signed to Atlantic Records today. Diggy's only 15, but he's the best young rapper I've heard in a long time. He's one of Rev. Run's children, and I didn't know what to expect. But I'm impressed. Very impressed. I love the clear high-pitched tone of his voice, and his advanced vocabulary skills. He's reminiscent of older legends like Q-Tip, Nas, AZ, and Lupe Fiasco. Check these tracks out:

he kinda young to be rappin bout anything isn't he? he needs some life experiences or else his career will be short lived.

He about 14 and he outrapped his older brother. What a shame. Guess we know who's the heir to Rev. Run's throne now don't we?

He seems to be the precocious type, so with his intelligence he'll probably be able to sustain his career for a long time. He's already 20x more advanced lyrically than Bow Wow was at that age, and Diggy has been a rich kid all of his life. He might get material from vicarious experiences as well. I hope he succeeds.

Wow, I didn't think of Lil Wayne AT ALL while listening to "We Have A Problem," lol. Wayne can rap that well, and that fast?

the swagger and delivery are very wayne like.

the chorus is annoying to me. (and i dont have a problem with autotune)

its just not my style of hiphop.

He may be a good rapper (which I haven't heard, his vocal style is rather annoying) but his beats are wack as hell, the last beat is alrigh though.
