Mr. Perry's movies suck ass to the max anyway.

What I hate most is that, he uses the "black card" in a way that Spike Lee never has or never will need to. It pains me that Roger Ebert retracted his zero star review for Diary. You can acknowledge the cultural relevance of a film without giving it a critical pass. Perry appears to dismiss critical thinking because he feels his audience is getting what they want. Well, McDonalds offers what their clientèle want but that doesn't make their food healthy.

Say what you will about Spike Lee but he is always striving for artistry (despite overreaching at times). I don't even know what Perry is reaching for (beyond the toilet bowl) but Oprah should be ashamed for pimping him to the masses. Here Oprah sulks in the public's reaction to a Beloved and instead of challenging the masses, she embraces a hack like Perry.
