I really enjoyed that episode.
It's too bad that so many young, naive artist got ripped off the way they did. When you're poor and somebody hands you a few thousand in cash, you're like ..meanwhile the royalties you are entitled to may be 4 or 5 times that! For all of his talent as a song writer/producer and help developing R.R, Whitfield was wrong for not giving them the $$$ they deserved. His argument that he spent money on clothes etc, is moot. He made much more than he ever invested in ONE HIT SONG let alone the multiple platinum albums R.R had. But like someone posted earlier, "he learned from the best" Can't wait for Sylvester next week | |
