And she said MJ looked like he was dealing with some major problems...Addicts have their off days and on days.... Bottom line: MJ is still MJ, even with his past flaws..He's still a GOAT....I think the fans need to understand... you know me, man. I try to stay levelheaded I can admit he had problems, the brotha had a rough life and went through alot I just want people to understand him and all that went through in the proper context, ya know? I don't want people out there to take it and overexaggerate or use it to degrade him. It's the same way I feel about James Brown or Sammy, and others I admire Exactly.

Murry was never brought in to help MJ with his battle with addiction, he was brought in to help him to sleep . What your saying is just pure speculation dude… Nah...I'm just dealing with reports... I think the main problem is folks have an over-the-top view of what "addiction" is... I can understand homie... but what reports? seeingvoices12 said: MyMyMy said: When was Michael the only Western star known in Africa? To the best of my knowledge, such a time never existed. Not to pick at that point, but that's some hyperhole right there.
What I meant by that ,is that he impacted every culture, race and language, he was able to reach to those places (Middle east, africa,Far east) while others weren't able to achieve that, thats nothing new, if there was someone before him then post his/her name. [Edited 4/2/10 17:21pm] Michael was the biggest star in the world... that goes without saying. But people like Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie... a lot of the Motown stars were very well known in the '70s and '80s. I think Bob Marley qualifies as "Western" and he was and is still hugely popular. There was a lot of African reggae music (The Mandators, Majek Fashek and others) created in the '80s because of Bob Marley. And this might be surprising but Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers were very huge in the '70s and '80s. Then in the '80s, of course, you had Madonna. Other artists I can think of... Boney M. Donna Summer comes to mind as well. Abba as well. Anyway, I was just saying the Michael being the only Western artist known in Africa... well, the Africa I know, is not true. /b] [Edited 4/2/10 18:57pm]

[Edited 4/2/10 18:24pm] Seeingvoices, you are completely right. Just like his autopsy report confirmed, Jackson was not a drug addict. The man hired Murray to help him sleep (Jackson had severe insomnia problems). Period! He didn't hire Murray to feed his drug addiction or whatever...the man just wanted to sleep. But hey (!), shall we all pretend we believe Joe's claims when he says he "just wanted to save Michael from dying"? C'mon: that's the only reason Joe was constantly yelling at Michael's door, OK? *sarcasm* Shall we all pretend we believe Janet when she says Propofol was the object of MJ's addiction? I mean, propofol isn't even an addictive substance but...let's pretend Janet is right. But...if Michael was such a junkie...why did Janet want to tour with him? Huummmm....strange. Oh...expect people to call you an worshipper. Facts aren't very well received, here.

And yet she has made it known that not only did MJ have a real drug problem, but he wouldn't admit it, even when he was approached by his the people who were closest to him.. And still, even with all his problems MJ will still go down as the greatest pure entertainer of his generation... The problem about Janet's statements can be reduced to one thing: ignorance. It's not that she had an agenda (who can deny Joe, for example, has his eyes on $?), it's that she knew nothing. The way she spoke about propofol is simply ridiculous. She basicaly said Michael was a junkie because he was taking propofol. While I'm not a doctor yet (I still have two big years in front of me), if you try telling this to a doc he/she will laugh in your face. She said he was an addict because he was a propofol user and that was the extent of his addiction. Seriously, this is laughable. Propofol isn't an addictive substance, mainly when combined with related anesthetics (=exactly what was found in MJ's system). Michael wanted to sleep. Period. The thing is: he was rich enough to hire a doctor. After this, Janet added that Michael told her that he was not addicted. And this interview takes place some months after Michael's autopsy report is made public. So Janet comes across as a person who believes Michael was an addict because he took medication repeatedly and eventually died because of that. By assuming it, she concludes that he was lying when asked about whether he was or not a druggie. So, Janet's statements are false. And Michael being a good or a bad entertainer has nothing to do with anything.

Propofol level in Michael Jackson's body at the time of his autopsy was 10 to 100 times higher than the level attributable to the dosage Dr. Conrad Murray admits to having administered. Photo Credit: Kevin Mazur/AEG/Getty Images
April 02, 2010, (Sawf News) - Propofol level in Michael Jackson's body at the time of his autopsy was 10 to 100 times higher than the level attributable to the dosage Dr. Conrad Murray admits to having administered. Dr. Bruce Speiss, Professor of Anesthesiology, who didn't' treat Michael Jackson, tells CNN: "The levels of propofol in the toxicology report are considerably higher, perhaps by factors of 10 to a 100 time higher." Murray told police that he administered 25 ml of propofol after three other drugs failed to help Michael sleep. Dr. Bruce also highlights some other inconsistencies. Murray says he stayed with Jackson for 10 minutes after administering propofol, in which case he should have noticed something was wrong. Michael should have been adversely affected with seconds of being given the drug. "If he was going to stop breathing he should have stopped breathing within 30 secs to 2 mins after the propofol went in," says Dr. Bruce. Also, a quantity as small as 25 ml should have been injected, not administered using IV, Dr Bruce points out, sinc the IV tube itself would take up 25 ml. http://www.sawfnews.com/G...63323.aspx [Edited 4/2/10 19:38pm] "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. MJ was surrounded by people who didn't have his best interest at heart. The very people who was bashing him are the same people singing his praises. As long as you see the fakery in Tinseltown, don't stress it. Whom it is that's responsible for MJ's death, karma will serve them. It's hard to believe that he's gone, but remember him for the talented and tender hearted gentleman that he was. [Edited 4/2/10 19:56pm]
