We had WGN down here on cable since the late 1970s back when cable only consisted of channels 2 - 13. It was the local channels, WGN, WTBS, and a channel that had writing on it all the time. It was that way throughout almost the entire 1980s and even with those limited channels there was 100 times more stuff to watch back then than there is now with 73 channels. When I move in a few weeks, I'm going to get a converter box and some rabbit ears and do away with cable. Andy is a four letter word. | |
