They play this song on XM quite frequently. I love it.

I got this album on a vinyl dig a couple of years ago.
Didn't know there was a video for this song. You can tell this is an early 80's video by looking at the phones they are using. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

"though your girlfriend is a friend of mine here's my number and a dime..." That was a popular theme in the late 70s and 80s. Mr. Telephone Man Call Me - Skyy Send For Me - Atlantic Starr are just a few songs that have a similar theme. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

The album's title track Be a Winner had a similar
chord to Don't Waste Your Time. The last thing i remember from the duo is Guilty that was released in 85 or 86. Don't laugh at my funk

"though your girlfriend is a friend of mine here's my number and a dime..." That was another favorite of mine. I used to be a sneaky whore like that but now I've changed and am no longer sneaky. Now I have friends in which we share men, sometimes at the same time in three and foursomes. I just got my priorities straight. Men are only good for 20 minutes, friends are forever. I met both of them 2 years ago backstage at the Stevie Wonder concert in Dallas. Alisa acted very Whitney Houston-ish. They sang a verse and chorus of "Don't Stop the Music" for us backstage. It was really fun to hear Stevie singing background vocal. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Their sound always reminded me a bit of the S.O.S band. Rene and Angela focused on "duets" while Y&P centered on Alise and the guy was an afterthought. The SOS Band had a similar formula. One of the guys sang lead a few times, but Mary was always the vocal "star" of the group. [Edited 3/20/10 1:29am] **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Do you remember their 1983 single "Heartbeat"? That's one of my favs... the cardiac arrest may have been for the best It was stimulating, regulating, pulsating sometimes irritating,but...

This is some trifling shit.
So what if your friend is cheating on her boyfriend, does that make you are better person for using this to get with him?
