Where to sell cassette tapes online? A family member of mine died awhile back. He was a music lover who left behind a ton of cassette tapes among his possessions. I'm looking for sites that'll buy cassettes from me so I don't have to list them on ebay. Can anyone recommend a place? If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.

You can list them on amazon also. I see cassettes listed, however, they don't go for much. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

You should keep them. Some of the albums might never have been made available on CD. You can rip cassettes quite easily with one $2.00 wire from Radio Shack and the Audacity program.

Cassettes aren't worth anything. I see them all the time being sold for less than a dollar. I've burned all mine onto CDs and gave a lot of the cassettes to my brother who prefers cassettes (the hell if I know why he prefers them). I threw the rest of them away and there were a ton of them. Some of you all are some cold arse judgement folks.
Most record stores will not trade cassettes cause like Andy said, they aren't worth much but I agree with the others, online outlets are a niche collectors wet dream. Space for sale...

I'm not cold. It's not like they were left to me (or anyone) in a will. They are just something that had to be removed from his apartment. If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.
