Eminem's rhyme structure is fantastic. He sounds a lot like Tupac on "The Eminem Show" and "8 Mile," which is a big improvement.

Moby isn't anywhere near as talented as Eminem. He's built a career on other people's music.

So are so many rappers, and they've never gotten the praise Eminem gets...

Cracks me up all the praise Eminem gets, people who rarely listen to hip-hop otherwise, proclaiming him the greatest of all time and/or the only good rapper out there.

The fact his sales outnumber the other hip-hop acts so greatly says a whole lot of people have Eminem as the sole rap representative in their music collections.

Who are the best known U.K. rappers? I've only heard of Slick Rick? Is rap a genre that is popular in the U.K.?

omfg Slick Rick isn't from the UK! Erm, remember classic tracks like "La Di Da Di" and "The Show"? That's Slick Rick & Doug E Fresh.

Slick Rick is from UK, he's a Londoner. After his prison time stateside they have been trying to send him back but it's sorted now.

Other UK rappers include Rodney P, Mark B and Blade, Roots Manuva, Iceberg Slim... the only one I have a CD by is "Me-One" who may classify but is more diverse.

I guess lack of any musical talent will find him out in the end.

Just those two? I worry about the pre-Eminem hip-hop fan who can't name 50 rappers better than Mr Mathers. biggrin

I really like Eminem's stuff... his albums have all been very good and it's great watching his skills evolve and grow, as he grows as an artist.

However I don't ever ever want to hear him collaborating with Prince biggrin

lol
