Flac audio conversion?

Hey guys wasn't sure where to ask this and I know it's been asked before but I couldn't find anything.
I need an easy free program for converting audio flac files so I can burn them to CDs.
Also do I convert to wav.or mp3? I've never been to sure about all this. sad
Thanks in advance.

use burrrn , this great program burns FLAC files without having to convert them first smile

http://www.snapfiles.com/...urrrn.html

(don't convert to FLAC to mp3 ; that defeats the whole purpose of FLAC , being that is uncompressed audio (lossless)
mp3 is compressed audio and therefore inferior sound quality (lossy) )

So I convert to wav at 1411kbps then burn to CD?
I thought you can't burn flac directly to CD? Files are too big right?

The progam that he mentioned will allow you to burn Flac files without conversion. No need to convert to wav. just Flac to CD. Converting flac to wav or MP3, defeats the purpose of a flac file, because conversion diminishes quality.

nero is the best, and has been for 10+ years i've been using it. you can get plugins for everything and just drag, drop and burn. the best for cd or dvd or bluray/hddvd

i know you don't need to buy nero. there are two free versions on the official website. a fully working 30 day trial that bad people can unlock with a keygen, or a basic version that works forever legitimately for people who don't like burning illegal bootlegs with pirate software and fail to see the irony

^what pirate sofware are you on about ?

burrrn is NOT pirate software , i wouldn't suggest using crap software , wtf!

i have always had gaps inbetween the songs when i used nero even when i checked the option to not have them

Christ, it's not that hard to google up "Flac conversion" and find the answer! FLAC has it's own program to encode and decode files. You drag, drop, Decode, and you're done.

There's a lot of ways to do whatever you want with those files. The FLAC front end is just as valid as any other noted here.

Audio Converter Studio 6.0 works well for me.
Super easy; takes flac to mp3 in like 3 steps.

Free Download:

http://www.download3000.c...10840.html

Then you can burn it from WMP or whatever you use for burning cds.

but it doesn't burn the files to cd, which is what the OP wants

nero will burn the files to cd without conversion. just drag and drop, and there is a legal and free version of the program, or a full version you can pay for legally
