Stacy Lattisaw's version was the first one I recall growing up. Then I heard this version and it remains my favorite. Such a great "sappy love song". lol

Too bad that it has been chopped and screwed into "Empire State of Mind". confused

I bet you guys don't know that the Moments were the second artists to record this tune lol The original version is by a female singer named Lezli Valentine and her version was released in 1968...

I didn't know that. Thanks for the info. I think the group version is better because the harmonies add a different flavor to the song.

And the Moments that sing this tune are not the same Moments who made "Not on The Outside."

Exactly. nod I think 3/4ths of the group left when this came out, so Sylvia found three other guys and replaced them with what you hear on "Two-Way Street" lol

Luv this song. It's always popping up in my head and I start singing it in the oddest moments...with people looking at me all eek lol cause:

"I found love on a two way street and lost it on a lone-lay high--waaaaay!" (sung in a loud slightly off-key voice) cool
