I think this was one of their final singles before they broke up?

I love this jam and would have loved for Foxy to have continued recording on into the 1980s.

They only made a few good songs. Get off, Hot Numbers, Rrrock and People Fall In Love While Dancing (from the first 1976 album, before get off). What I don't understand, is why did they speed up the tempo for Rrrock on the 12" version.

Really? I never had the 12 on this. Did they just up the BPM..or does this version have breakdowns....or what? I'm curious.....

They would have gone in a rock direction,as evidenced by their 1980 single "Sex Symbol" shrug

I guess the "disco sucks" thing really scared alot of disco/R&B artists. In 1980,Donna Summer,KC& The Sunshine Band, and Foxy released rock singles.

Hell, even the Village People went New Wave in 1981,lol.

Have you noticed that, they had their greatest success whenever they use female background vocalists? Those two songs are their biggest hits and both songs feature prominent female background vocals. In fact, those ladies practically TAKE OVER those songs, lol.

They give the songs a real party feel.
