I never watched The Tonight Show on a daily basis, but I've been a fan of Jay's comedy for a long time, and the few jokes I heard him say/do about MJ were not as bad as what is being described here. Maybe I missed the nasty ones Ellie is referring to, but still, he's nothing compared to bitter comedians like Chris Rock and Katt Williams. They have totally displayed their disdain and ignorance about MJ in their "jokes," so if Janet ever works with either one of them, that's when I'll get angry. Her talking with Jay doesn't bother me. He did a nice segment about Michael during one episode of his previous 9PM/10PM show, so I have a feeling he will be respectful.

If she's not holdin a grudge over the things they said about HER, why do u expect her to hold a grudge over things said about her brother?

Besides- if Janet stopped speaking to everyone who did MJ wrong, the only shows she'd be able to go on is Ellen and Larry King. She may as well just retire, then.

Is she goin on this show alone or with some of the co-stars? If someone else is there, it would be unlikely MJ would even be brought up.

Cool. I guess she'll be there to promote "Why Did I Get Married 2"? I'll be watching.

I love the album sooo much, I get offended when ppl talk bad so much about it. Why- because she's smilin on the cover? Because it didnt sell as much as TVR? So many wasted single material on this album. They could've gone all the way to 6- Turst A Try and Come on Get Up were begging to be singles! But they dropped the project to focus on Glitter! We knopw how that turned out!

I just love how some people compare Janet's huge "ordeal" over the Superbowl incident to Michael's last 15 years of his life being labelled as a child molester like it's the same thing. It's honestly as bad as that annoying Crocker guy on YouTube crying over Britney Spears. While the American networks were destroying Janet's career the rest of the world was pointing and laughing at them for taking such shit so seriously.

I blame the record company for handling the Damita Jo project so crappily. It was a bloody good album - all the wrong songs were released, they ignored Europe after the awful Just A Little While flopped, whereas I think if the right song was released she could have actually hit it big as she had so much sympathy here. For the first time since 1993 she was actually known for something other than being MJ's sister and no-one took advantage of it. They just had no balls going about the situation, desperately trying to grovel back to middle America which was never her audience in the first place. Shame the subsequent albums were all steaming turds.

That's what I hate about the way the entertainment industry works now - having to play the game and succumb to mediocrity. No-one truly great will ever come around again that way.

I give up on the MJ/Leno front. You're right, Janet's about as useful as a microphone at a Britney Spears concert in even defending herself, so I can't expect her to ever do or say anything interesting on anyone else's behalf either. She's probably as oblivious to the world as Michael was.
