Lenny Kravtiz confirms MJ's lead single from first posthumous album.

http://www.tbs.com/video/...oid=210550

Looks like it's going to be Another Day.

Can we get a sticky for the new album?

I hate that looped version.

Looking forward to hearing the final version. It seems as if Sony leaked this on purpose all those months ago.

That's what I was thinking. They leaked the snippet to get a buzz and see the feedback

I do, definitely more than Heartbreaker and The Lost Children

I LOVE Lenny's version of it (well, the Just Blaze remix of it) so when I found out Storm was originally Another Day, I literally said "Oh SHIT!!" lol

Hearing it and other tracks from the Invincible sessions (A Place With No Name, Shout, Beautiful Girl, Escape, Fall Again) I feel the album could've been stronger

Did the FULL version of A Place With No Name leak yet?

I don't get it, this song should be the lead single EASILY.

we only have 1:00 minute of the track leaked, we can't judge the entire song based on that, Let's judge when we hear the entire thing....

I think His vocals are great ...

It's unremarkable as a composition and the production is overblown. But it's okay, I guess.

I was surprised that Kravitz didn't do a retroish track with him. It's probably more in the vein what Jackson wanted to do himself. To be honest, there was worse stuff on his last studio albums than this.

Apparently, Another Day wasn't the only song they did, they also did one called "Crush" and I think they did some work in 2009

I still have my doubts about whether or not A Place With No Name was recorded in the 00's. It sounds very 90's to my ears.

Another Day sounds promising although I hope they re-work the production because it sounds a little like a remix to me. It would've been nice to have had an all new song as the lead single though. But I guess there will be plenty of new songs on the album, so I'll just have to wait until then.

That's because it was lol It was recorded in 1998 in London

I'm listening to Fall Again and trying to come up with an "alternate" tracklisting for Invincible

1. Escape
2. Invincible
3. Break Of Dawn
4. Another Day
5. Heaven Can Wait
6. You Rock My World
7. Butterflies
8. Speechless (It's grown on me so I'll keep it lol )
9. A Place With No Name
10. 2000 Watts
11. You Are My Life
12. Fall Again
13. Whatever Happens
14. Unbreakable

I'm stumped now.... lol

It seems to be. Some insiders (who were proven to be legit when they came up with news about TII months before the movie was released) suggest we'll get a new album in August, and the first single (Another Day) in June. They say we should have an official press release April/May.

Cool tracklisting. I would add We've Had Enough on the end though and keep The Lost Children (it's my guilty pleasure).

Do you remember the initial track list for Invincible?

The album included songs like

Get around
Kick it
Maybe we can do it

but the tracklist suddenly changed.

"Shout" was also replaced by " You Are My life"

Nope, I don't remember Get Around, Kick It, and Maybe We Can Do It being part of the tracklist, I do remember Shout being replaced though

It was supposed to come out November 1999 but kept getting pushed back....

Really but Lenny never talked about "Crush", he always said that he was happy that he got the chance to work with Mj on a song that remained unreleased.

The rest of the song isn't gonna sound that much different than the brief snippet that we have already heard lol It's just not a good song, imo.Kinda boring, actually.

I wasn't too crazy about the "This Is It" song either.I'm sure that there are some amazing unreleased MJ songs in the vault. So far,we haven't heard them yet.

sigh

Sorry, but the song is awful. Why did MJ continue to record mediocre songs written by other people? They should've kept "We Had Enough" for this. They totally wasted it on The Ultimate Collection. That box set didn't sell jack and they wasted so many great unreleased tracks on such a poor selling collection. Songs like "Monkey Business" and "We Had Enough" would've come in handy at a time like this, and I think those songs would've been so well recieved by critics and fans alike. Moreso than this Lenny Travis reject.

I am excited about the album though. Not because I want to listen to it, but because I want to see how much it can sell! How much will it sell in its first week? How many countries will it reach the top? How long will it stay there? Will it be the top selling album of 2010? Will it manage to outsell Invincible's 7 million?! Soooo exciting! excited

i like the song and if it´s true, of course, I can´t wait to hear the new album, even though it´s gonna be bittersweet without all the great videos to look forward to and listening to it might make me feel a bit guilty in the end, cause I know that Mike wouldn´t approve of that, but I am sure I am gonna love it to death eventually anyway.
