Thanks for reminding me about the,. I just bought their latest album from Amazon cos of this - has a live DVD attached to it so I couldn't resist.
The stuff they did with Curtis Mayfield was excellent. | |

I saw The Blow Monkeys a couple of times in the 80s, a great live band. I also saw (Dr) Robert Howard live a few times with Paul Weller/TSC.
He released some great solo albums and wrote songs for Dee C Lee's "Slam Slam" project which was a great soulful house album | |
