Thanks Timmy. cool post. I'm an admire of Betty Wright and I hope an pray one day (before she leaves this earth) some one does an in depth documentary about this brilliant singer/songwriter.

Not to mention years-ahead-of-her-time child prodigy. Remember she was only three when she began her singing career and about eleven when she started her R&B career. She was about 14 when this song came out in 1968. smile

Isn't that amazing!! We don't love..... maybe a better word we don't appreciate are own or maybe we've taken them for granted. Anyway, I'd love to have just an hour of Ms. Wright time and talk about music.

We've allowed to many of our artist to leave these earth without allowing them to tell their story or even asking them if they would. I like the "Great Performance" format but I would like to these artist to talk about the creative process and some of the ups and downs of the businees. It's our loss really.
