What's the point of yelling, you know his old ass can't hear you And even if he did, he'd just say "I'm back baby!" and Ludacris and Akon would stand behind him nodding. I think when MJ died he might have taken Q's musical soul with him and it got replaced with this mess. Seriously, is WATW25 still getting any radio play? Wasn't that like 2 weeks ago? Seriously, what's the point of a project like this? What's Quincy trying to prove? If I wanted to hear all those whack artists,I would go out and buy their own CDs! I don't see why Quincy always has to feature a million guest artists on his own albums. And what's with all the damn remakes?? If people want to hear those songs, they're gonna stick with the ORIGINAL versions!!

This isn't the first time that Quincy has fucked up a Brothers Johnson classic. On his last album,he did a remake of "Stomp" that was horrendous It features a bunch of rappers pissing all over it.Unbelievable!

Q's run out of fresh ideas/material, I guess. Retirement isn't a bad thing; he should think about if this is all he has left in the tank.

'The Dude' is a wonderful album because it's genuine and un-pretentious.He was working with talented vocalists (James Ingram and Patti Austin) who weren't well-known before that album. He picked a bunch of NEW songs that were excellent...."Razzmatazz","One Hundred Ways",the pop masterpiece "Just Once",the funky title track, etc. He even chose a killer song to remake,"Ai No Corrida",turning it into a funk/R&B dancefloor jam.
His subsequent albums are bloated and over-long,featuring too many guest stars and rappers. He seems determined to re-make all of his classic songs, this time using rappers and hip-hop production. It's a shame that he's choosing to go out this way.

Quincy hasn't put together anything worthwhile as a producer
since Tamia's You Put a Move on My Heart around the mid nineties. I guess he's trying to get in the rap circle these days because his days as a top notch sought after producer is over. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
