Name concerts U WALKED OUT OF

3 times...

grateful dead MSG NYC 88--went to see opening artist (who canceled). After about 5-10 minutes it was INTOLERABLE. I will say this--there fans REALLY get their
groove on..dancin and shakin like no other
fans I've EVER seen.

Stones--shea stadium NYC '89. Again went to see Living Colour open. After 30 min
of same old Stones it got boring.

Bowie--New jersey '94. And AGAIN went to see opening band NIN. Bowie was good but it was when he ONLY played new songs
and since I don't follow his music or that new lp I couldn't get into it.

Odd how I left shows of 3 classic bands.

Motörhead - just because it was too loud, my ears were hurting!

Ween - what a bunch of fuckers! They had almost sold out the small venue and they came on stage with an attitude like: Haha, we will fuck your evening up! And that's exactly what they did!

George Clinton - after 4.5 hours of good funk and a lot of drinks, the old man was still funkin'...I had to go!

Wilco- this one I regret but I was still exhausted of dancing to Kruder & Dorfmeister the night before.

St.-Germain - this was a worthless show

I guess there are some more...

I'm sure there have been others, but the most recent was Cornershop's tour in 2002...

They make me so sad, I LOVE their cds, but THEY SUCK LIVE...a complete and total lack of stage presence that leaves a whole so big you forget you are at a concert.

That's the 2nd time Ive seen Cornershop and been bored..I will NEVER see them live again...

Paul Young. I was a bit pissed off that I did though because 6 months later I saw it on TV and about 2 mins after I walked out, Michael Aspel came on stage and gave him the "This Is Your Life" book.

I don't know if this counts but, I went with a friend to see Fishbone back in the day. They'd opened for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I saw maybe a minute of the Peppers and we left.

I should have walked out of this Billy Preston concert. Actually, the only reason I went was because Mazarati had originally been scheduled to perform at the Ritz in NYC. However, they cancelled and I couldn't get back my money. sad Preston replaced them (WTF?) so I went. Not that he was bad, I was just bummed that I didn't get the chance to see Mazarati.

omfg You walked out of Bowie and The Rolling Stones??? Holy shit! I saw NIN with Bowie too and I thought he was great...and I was mainly there to see NIN.

The only concert I walked out of was Mr. Bungle. They played mostly their new album and I didn't like it.

Then there were a couple of Ozzfests and other all day events that I left early from. Mostly because I was drunk and tired.

Ahhh the Bloodhound Gang!!! They played at an all day event once and I passed out in the middle of the crowd. I drank a few cocktails and it was about 99 degrees out. I was WAY dehydrated lol It happened right when they were singing the "do it like the discovery channel" part!

I cant' fucking spell today...sorry redface

i walked out of Jill Scott a couple of years ago. it was a packed house and all her and the band did was noodle like some damn Benihana restaurant.
then there was Guru. man that cat couldn't rap to save his life. he was so uninspiring in his rap and delivery. plus herbie hancock's smile was reflecting off the lights. he was playing with Guru.
the most recent one was TTD. you'll have to see the thread i put up about that one.

Prince @ Xenophobia -- this past summer, any time there was an abundance of God, Larry, Tina, or Musiq Soulchild

BILAL @ paradiso, amsterdam 2002

this dude wanted to show the audience what he was able to do with his voice; what we got was this vocal tornado. really irritating. besides that, he had the dumbest entourage possible.
don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine
purple music does the same to my brain

Well, I'm really picky about who I see in concert, so I've never walked out of one.

But, I was at a Rick James show many, many, many years ago with my younger brother. During the Mary Jane Girls set, my brother decided it all too obscene for him and left! I laughed my ass off. LOL
