Well if you watched the Golden Globes tonight, you were able to hear parts of the new Celine Dion's single, I Drove All Night. Yes, (the track Cyndi Lauper made so famous) was played during the Chrysler commercials at least 5 times during the show. It wasn't bad. Celine can throw her signature sound on about anything and make it her own. Just look at If You Asked Me to. I thought that she could not handle that Patti Labelle track, but most people love her version too. Celine even appeared in one commercial spot. The single should support her new cd coming out opening day of her three year Cesars Palace gig.

Yes I saw it...and coincidentally...there was also an ad that ran for Dr. Pepper with Anastasia and...(guess who?)...Cindy Lauper.

Yep...this is the Roy O song...that Cyndi made famous (and my favorite Cyndi track next 2 'When U Were Mine')

I'm sure Celine will have a valid hit with it...but it will never touch me the way the original did...

the song is so beautiful and the build is so intense...I hope Celine does not overDO..it...(with her vocal gymnastics...)...but I'm sure she will!

Celine Dion Sucks!! I am a Canadian and I can't stand her or her husband. They both make me sick. I wish she would go away.

I actually just started to like that song (the first song by Celine that I could take) and then got sick of it when they ran those 20 or so Chrysler commericals. She premiered the song at the Auto Show here in Michigan and that's when I first started hearing it. It wasn't bad but I'm really sick of it now.

The backstreet boys?? You've got to be kidding. I like real musicians who play real music. Celine may be able to sing, but she and her husband are just plain sickening. They flaunt their billions all over the place and I just can't stand to hear her name anymore. She acts like a queen and she demands to be treated like one. Other than the fact that she has a decent voice, I do not care for he musical style at all. She is boring!
