I do remember. I didn't really understand all their politics back then but the beats/flow are good.

This takes me back to my highschool years 89-90! :>)

Brother J is one of the best MC's in Hip Hop.

Yeah, I remember them. I also remember how afrocentric they were...on record only. When in town they always would stay at the same ghetto motel by our fairgrounds, they dress from head to toe in designer clothes and always kept white girls on their arms. I didn't let that stop me from groovin to "Funkin' Lesson" and "Heed the Words of the Brotha" That's just when I learned that public image and private life were two very separate things. Those, to this very day, are still two of my favorite rap songs.
