So how come Steve Jobs cant fix the "glitch" with the iPod Touch years later???

The amazing zillionare Steve Jobs who basically can make a laptop you can put up your ass, and iPod that can hold 4million songs, he cant fix the glitch in the playcounts on the iPod touch that has been reported now for years? Just wondering...dont you think you clear one thing up since technically you sold it saying it has certain things???

Y'know, you can get a Windows PC you can put up your ass for like half the price. I don't care how smooth Apple hardware is, or how rounded-off the corners are, when I go to Starbucks and see these trendy pseudo-bohemian types cramming some overpriced iDouche into their rectal cavity, I can barely bring myself to swig my own latte. batting eyes

the question should be, "why are you still using an ipod?"

Ipods are fucking garbage, piece of shit which forces you to use its shitty software just to add a fucking song to your player.

other mp3 players are plug and play, but Ipod is a shit fest designed for the cunt generation who ejaculate over the smooth white surface of the ipod, and then proceed to jerk off at its "aesthetics".

fuck the ipod.

i don't mind other apple products like their computers, but fuck the Ipod and fuck the Iphone. 2 pointless pieces of shit.

name a better one with the storage capabilities?

honestly, i'm interested to know. i'm in the market for a new/bigger iPod and if there's something better/bigger, i'd check it out.

I have been around the world with from Ipods and other MP3 players and I have come back to my ipod. Very few can touch the ipod for it's storage and sound.

I use my phone (Nokia) for music now over my iPod Touch Sound quality rules, plus it uses a microSD so I can upgrade how much music I have. My 8GB maxed out already disbelief

I use my Touch now mostly for reading e-books, and a few apps. I must say I love reading on it. Plus it's more versatile than getting a Kindle for the same price. wink

I just got an Ipod classic. 160gigs for $240. This enbles me to fit almost all of my music onto it.

That amused me. i have a white Ipod, it's scratched to fuck, old and knackered. i never looked at is as a thing of beauty, it did a job, that's all it's done. Now i look upon it as an outdated bit of kit, my R2D2.

Some might say folks that protest too much must surely be wanking off over the thought of being enslaved to some other piece of technology, which they probably are.

But yeah, fuck the Iphone.

As much as I don't like the man, Bill Gates KNEW better than to do what Steve is doing. iPods are useful but for brief periods. I can't even hang with iTunes they hardly have what I'm looking for so I bid adieu to it a long time ago. lol

I've been using my Samsung Moment for music lately too. I am ordering a 16gb microSD card today. That won't hold everything, but it will hold enough of the favorites to tide me over until I'm home again.

But I love my 120gb iPod Classic. I don't understand the hatred toward Apple.

Thats great, did you buy it from ebay? Because this one was taken off the market shortly after its release. OH I was so upset when that happend.

I have a classic 120G and its only 80MB away from being filled out sigh I have SO much more to store but I can't.

Glitches in the playcount, I'm not aware.

I love my iPod(s) and iTouch. What's funny when my family bought me one (1st generation iPod) I didn't touch it, my kid took it. lol Now, I can't live without my iPods and it still astounds me I can carry most of my music collection,in my jacket pocket. What's cool about the iTouch are the aps. I can record and edit a song and send it out to the world. They even have an app that you can slow down a record speed if you want to learn how to play the piece. I would say 80 / 85% of my music is from my music collection. You can still use iTunes / iPods without ever purchasing music from Apple.

I want one! My 120GB is full. And I've got another 20GB that won't even fit. sad

But I do rip my music @ 192kbps VBR AAC, though, just so they sound better in the car or on a speaker dock.

I was going to get another touch,(give my 32gig, to my girl). My brother told me that it makes more scense to get 160gig Ipod classic for $245, cause I have allot of music. I love it. Go to Target, they should still have them.

i have the 'zen x-fi' by Creative. they make some great mp3 players.
very easy to use, nice features, nice designs as well.

plus, they're not as expensive and a lot of the models have an extra
memory card option so you can store stuff on the player and also put
lots of stuff on varying memory cards.

it works for me smile

Remember the days when you'd have a cassette Walkman and you'd rock out to ONE mix tape? I think we're spoiled, as a society. Your whole collection in your pocket!

I also think that's a powerful statement about how bad today's radio stations are - that we have to be our own DJs to be able to listen to anything good.

My musical taste is WIDE! I could start out the day with Mega Death and end it with Chopin and listen to everything else in between. I don't think it is about being "spoil", I think it is about liking different things. Also, we SHOULD have a say in what we listen to. I have no problem being my own DJ, since I know what it is I like.

I kind of miss mix tapes. And the CD-R version of the same. Playlists are nice, but it doesn't force you to make choices. I usually quit about 20 minutes in because I've already got too many songs, so many more to go, and it just doesn't look satisfying. I have to institute "rules" on them, to keep them a manageable length. I'm anal about it. lol

When making a play list, you do have a choice as to what goes onto that list. It is the same as a mixed tape or CD. You can make it as long or as short as you want. Now, if one does not have enough music to add, that is another story.

I know, but they can end up being endless, which sort of makes it not as much fun.

I think it's a testament the impact this technology has had for the listners, you can listen to what you want however you want. Like shorttrini, I think many people have a Wide range musical taste. Hell, my brothers and I use to use a compact reel to reel tape recorder to recorded mix tapes off our parents stero component set. We've come a looooong way baby!. lol

As a DJ, I still have my reel to reel, it is more than 25 years old, but it still plays. I use it to record long mixes.
