This guy can really sing and he plays an instrument. I also heard that he writes his own songs too. I've listened to a couple of his songs on youtube, and I'm impressed. I think he's another victim of record companies that don't promote talented artists. Maybe he works for an indie label because you can get more money that way. Does anyone know if he's popular overseas?

Yeah, I remember hearing it on the radio when it first came out. The album cuts are so much better though, Crazy is good. At this point in history, we have a choice to make

I'm not sure about his popularity outside of the states, but his two albums are superb; different moods and styles, from contemporary RnB, Soul, balladary, even reggae. I think he probably is a victim of not fitting a niche, though for me, he's miles ahead of most of the Neo Soul artists out there. I just hope he drops another album and tours, he has my attention At this point in history, we have a choice to make

Him? I like a few of his songs, but I could take him or leave him, honestly. Good voice though. At this point in history, we have a choice to make

I have Javier's cd, with "A song for your tears". Great CD and my favorite song. His second cd though, is missing something. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Jaheim is too busy sounding like Teddy Pendergrast. He does not have his own sound. Javier, does and this is why I think people have slept on him. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

So, you think that Jaheim is tryin' to sound like Teddy P? I think he just does. That's like saying that Anthony Hamiliton is too busy sounding like Bill Withers. Let's be all the way real here. Jaheim, Tank, Joe, David Hollister, Anthony Hamiliton, and Mint Condition are the ones that get no love in the industry. And what do all the above mentioned have in common? They are seriously underrated. I'm surprised that Javier isn't more popular, because (although I liked "Crazy") his sound is similiar to what's popular today.

He might not have been trying to at first, but I am sure enough people brought it to his attention. I think the reason that people like Anthony get no loves is because, they don't sound like anybody else and like Sade, he refuses to change things like his style or appearence for the sake of their craft. There is no gimmick with them. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

It took me a long time to get used to Anthony, but there is something about the tone of his voice that reminds me of Otis, Wilson Pickett, and Dobie Gray...all rolled into one.I love the track that he did for the "American Gangster", soundtrack....."Do you feel me". Really? I feel both CD's compliment each other, so much that I put them all on a playlist on my ipod. Maybe I need to listen to them individually to see where you are getting at. At this point in history, we have a choice to make

It takes a while to get into his music, IMO. Originally outside of singles, i felt the same way until they grew on me; I think its the production. He straddles a line between hip hop and classic soul production techniques, but it doesn't always serve the lyric/song all the time. I would love to hear the Roots produce an Anthony Hamiliton album Check these in the meantime: At this point in history, we have a choice to make
