"A Fantasy Love Affair"

"The Singer's Become A Dancer"
"For Your Love"
"Dance With Me"
"It's True What They Say About Love"
"Without Love"

This album is a pleasant surprise.Because of the hit single "Dance With Me",many people thought that this would be a disco album, but it's far from it.Several tracks have a Steely Dan vibe....mellow and melodic. The hypnotic "For Your Love" is simply amazing....a breezy, intoxicating, soulful Quiet Storm number that feels like a lazy summer afternoon."The Singer's Become A Dancer" is another surprise, and the album closes with a haunting little song "Without Love" that feels more like a brief interlude.Great stuff!

I remember my cousin having this album when we were in middle school. I
always dug this album. I remember always hearing Do You Wanna Get Funky
and Dance With Me on the radio before going off to school. Listening to
my cousin's album i also like You Should Do It and For Your Love.
The latter is nice and breezy just like you stated.

No WAY! Learn somethin' every day, don't we? smile After he recorded stuff on the TK distributed label, Drive Records, he had another club hit in '84 on Columbia called, "They Only Come Out at Night" from his album, "Snap." Not sure if that's available on CD, but I'm sure it's out there for download. It's GOTTABE! It was TIGHT! smile

People try to post his stuff from that first album there, but Youtube keeps taking it down, claiming that it violates copyright--I know, I tried to upload a few myself, lol
