In the magazine's upcoming issue, there's an interesting article titled The Last Year that focuses on the final recordings started by Jimi.

Regarding the recent Valleys of Neptune release...

"People need to understand that this is not a finished, polished studio album," he says. "But at the same time, it's more than just one-guitar demos. There are a bunch of wonderful moments here, as long as it's understood that we're porviding a gander ata a great artist's sketches. There is a really creative period here that isn't well documented. Here's a window into it."

Strangely enough, I just started getting this magazine regularly.


The UK guitar magazines (Guitarist, Guitar Buyer (now THAT is just tempting me to get more guitars, no..?) and Guitar) are very good but I just have to have one more each month!

I like that the interview articles are actually quite long and in-depth, whereas other music magazines cram as many different artists in as they can rather than let the ones they DO feature say their piece.
