Yet another reason i hate labels (not record this time) just labels on music, Danny Gokeys first album is labeled "country", WHAT?? does anyone know what country music is?? This is a list at who has been put into country now with new or recent albums. Jewel, Bon Jovi, Ryan Adams, Norah Jones, Jessica Simpson, and another one that blew my mind Jessie James. Well news to the world, just because you use the slide guitar on a song, doesnt make you a country artist, the people that make labels are even more dumb than the ones that work at labels.

But back to Danny, clearly this was the dude that shoulve won by a landslide and now hearing all 3 of the last 3 AI peeps albums, Danny pretty much will have another album and possibly one day a catalog of 5, which is like 20 in this generation. But what sets him out from the other two is there is no real "label" on him, he could easily do a "rick astley" like 80's record and also then do something with Andrea Boccelli, which is why i think he will have "respect" like what Katharine Mcphee gets to actually be requested by other artists that are on higher levels.

I totally agree with you. I love Danny. I just downloaded his album, but haven't gotten a chance to listen to it. I do like the single, though.

Danny has one of the best voices that have ever been on the Idol stage. I was hoping that he would do a Christian album or a Country/pop album.
