The euro version of her latest, Theology, is up there with Lion & Cobra IMHO. I have a fascinating political story to share about Fire and Babylon. Too sleepy now though, will share tomorrow.

Fav Sinead song? Troy.

"red football" is one of my fav songs of all time. that's weird
and i don't completely understand why, but it just is.

the lyrics combined with the vocal delivery. plus, i always feel
so fucking bad for that crocodile in dublin zoo smile

love all her albums, except "am i not your girl" because i can
only listen to one or two songs at at time from that one.

still quite surprised that so many people overlooked "fait and
courage". it's an excellent album. some great song on there.

my fav sinead song is still "you made me the thief or your heart"
even if it's not actually her own song. it's freakin' awesome.

Universal Mother & Faith and Courage are pretty underrated IMO

But I wish she did more of her own music & less reggae & Irish folk covers lol

Wowugotit

Sinead O'Connor's albums are a mixed bag for me. I like elements of all of them but there isn't ONE Sinead O'Connor album that I can say is my favorite.

I love Sinead, and glad to see the love for "Red Football." Great song.

It's hard to beat "The Lion & The Cobra" and "I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got", but I'd say her most underrated is "Faith and Courage".

sinead is awesome and way ahead of her time....

I Do Not Want What I Havent Got has to be my favorite but Faith & Courage is right up there.
Some really great stuff, I dont think the right singles were chosen for Faith and Courage and Sinead probably needed a miracle for a big hit album anyway.

Her last tour was phenomenal.. she even broke out some vintage stuff like "Never Gets Old" and did a bunch from "IDNWHIHG" and "Faith & Courage" acoustic... People were going NUTS!

True artists like her dont really need big hits to keep going, their music has struck a chord with people despite trends.

LOVE SINEAD!

IDNWWIHNG and Universal Mother are my favorite albums. "He Moved Through the Fair," "Lord Baker," and "John, I love You" -- in that order -- are my favorite Sinead songs.

Covers...I think. Not sure. However, the songs picked fit her aesthetic to a tee.

Love Universal Mother, Fire on Babylon, Red Football (It's snarlingly funny!) John I love You. I wish she'd write her own stuff more often.
