I've been posting here since 2007 or 2008 and yeah there was a time when MJ threads were everywhere on this site. I'd come here and half the threads on the first page would be about Michael. I'd even see threads about MJ in the Prince: Music & More section, so in a way I understood why Prince fans and others were pissed about all the MJ threads.

Being that MJ is my fave artist though I did not like all the constant bashing of MJ and his fans on here of course but I'd stay out of the drama most of the time . Poor Bboy, Dag, SeeingVoices, etc. though lol always having to argue with the haters in those threads. I couldn't do it though. Once in a while i'd jump in and defend him, but for the most part I stayed out of the drama 'cause I know how I get when it comes to MJ.

I tend to get really riled up when people bad talk Michael (and even my entire family and friends watch their mouths around me when it comes to MJ. Seriously, they are all scared to bad talk Michael around me lol), so it was better I stayed out of those threads.

I would have probably gotten banned or something by now. I'm glad I didn't take part in it for the most part. Most of my posts about MJ on this site consist of talking about his career and music.

I used to get involved in those discussion in the beginning. Once I got to know some people, I realized that my energy is not worth wasting on them, so I stopped doing that.

I had to say to myself "Hold it together, man" lol

To be honest, I haven't really cried about Michael's passing in months, probably back in August. When he passed, I couldn't function the whole week, that may sound weird to people on this forum, but they have to understand, the man was my hero. He's a big part of the fabric of the person I've become.

June 25th, I fell COMPLETELY apart. A part of my childhood, a piece my heart.....that's the best way I can describe it

I vividly remember that day and 3 weeks following the press conference, a couple of us, including you and I, caught hell from alot of orgers (I can name names). People were SOOOOO negative and unwilling that people still wanted or loved Michael Jackson. It was like MJ fans were public enemy #1 in March 2009 on Prince.org, but we (You, me, Timmy, and others) still were excited because he was coming back! biggrin

I told Vanilli some days ago, I had to work over the bitterness because I remember the insults and the people who said them, and I'm sure you do to, but that's not the way to be and as corny as it may sound, that's not what Mike would've wanted

Me, too and probably even a bit longer. I felt as if someone just tore my heart off and threw it away - a total emptiness inside. I kept walking around looking at people and not understanding how come the world is going on. I felt I was in a haze or something looking at the world as if I wasn´t part of it. Thank God I am a teacher and that the summer holidays were beginning. I can´t imagine having to go to work and function somehow cause I couldn´t stop the tears for days. Noone understood. My mum kinda told me off for being in a bad mood a day or two after his passing. She´s never understood and never will what he means to me. Let me stop cause I am crying...

hug I am tearing up at this.

I love that song so much. I love how his whispers at the beginning. His voice does things to me that no other voice can do. And the lyrics....damn Mike, I feel ya sooooo bad.

Well, what can we say. For every great artist their are legions of people who deride all their accomplishments. I don't argue whether Elvis, Bruce, Prince or Michael were great with other people. It's a waste of time. And believe me, each one of these guys has haters out here. Michael came as quite a package. Several things make him remarkable, of course being a true child prodigy, then being able to do something probably 90 percent of child prodigies never do, do relevant work as an adult. There really is no disputing his gift as a dancer, he was one of the best ever. As a songwriter he has few peers, his gifts as a producer/songwriter/arranger will probably always be a little forgotten about, it wouldn't have hurt if he could have played an instrument. As a singer he had a great range, versatility, the only fault I can say was he lacked fullness as an adult because he was so damned skinny. Of course his contributions to the video genre will always be remembered. I still think his charisma was unique, the only person i've ever seen who could compare was Elvis.

Haters and Trolls.

Trolls and haters have reached to the point to label Michael's music as plastic pop, That Got to be one of the dumbest comments ever.

Well, that's evidence that they just haven't listened closely. I've always maintained that his staple, "Billie Jean" was dark and subversive, meaning it could be that major a hit even though it's full of paranoia, fear, something foreign to a true "pop" song. Also, the basslines and progressions are blues, anyone saying he left anything behind are just not paying attention. It's a work of genius. I could go on to his other songs to but what's the point. I could say the "Dangerous" album was darker than the grunge which overtook it but who would listen. To take Mike and put him in a class with say britney spears or milli vanilli is just ridiculous and history will not do that to him so those opinions are irrelevant.

Moreover it's just meanspirited and inconsiderate. Not inconsiderate of just Michael but also the people who love him. I've matured to the point of indifference but I never understood how writers, critics, lay people could just say the cruelest things about other peoples heroes. It doesn't do anything but create resentment, and no one has the right to tell me who my heroes are gonna be.

LOL...Sure, That's Plastic lol

Just a little example... lol

Stranger In Moscow

I was wandering in the rain
Mask of life, feelin' insane
Swift and sudden fall from grace
Sunny days seem far away
Kremlin's shadow belittlin' me
Stalin's tomb won't let me be
On and on and on it came
Wish the rain would just let me

How does it feel (How does it feel)
How does it feel
How does it feel
When you're alone
And you're cold inside

Here abandoned in my fame
Armageddon of the brain
KGB was doggin' me
Take my name and just let me be
Then a begger boy called my name
Happy days will drown the pain
On and on and on it came
And again, and again, and again...
Take my name and just let me be

How does it feel (How does it feel)
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel (How does it feel now)
How does it feel
How does it feel
When you're alone
And you're cold inside

How does it feel (How does it feel)
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel
How does it feel (How does it feel now)
How does it feel
How does it feel
When you're alone
And you're cold inside

Like stranger in Moscow... Lord have mercy
Like stranger in Moscow... Lord have mercy
We're talkin' danger
We're talkin' danger, baby
Like stranger in Moscow
We're talkin' danger
We're talkin' danger, baby
Like stranger in Moscow
I'm living lonely
I'm living lonely, baby
like a Stranger in Moscow

Someone Put Your Hand Out, a masterpiece? LMAOOOOO LMAOOOOO LMAOOOOO

Do any of you post anywhere else instead of licking a patchy ball bag of an overrated pop singer known for the controversies rather than the.....pop music!?

Prince.org posting MJ shit cos it gets you off.

Go look up some real music instead of plastic pop...making Prince look bad!

Some people are able to look past the controversial bullshit and can focus on the music
