I don't care to hear Riding The Tiger much less bother with a '12 inch version, but A.Scott Galloway wrote some VERY intersting pieces for Rhino/Hip-O releases, I might get this to read what he say.

Plus, I need to hear Let somebody love you in a remastered version love

Yeah that's my view too, of all things they've released, I'm not feelin' this one.

This is the album that ended Phyllis' association with Arista Records and Clive Davis.Released in late spring 1983,the album bombed and Clive dropped her from the label.

I think what really hurt the album is the first single,"Riding The Tiger",a noisy dance track that was totally inappropriate for Phyllis. Most of the other songs are decent, but this album isn't nearly as strong as her previous album 'Can't We Fall In Love Again'.

After leaving Arista, she wisely went to Philadelphia International and recorded the finest album of her career,'Living All Alone'.I would love a fresh remaster of that masterpiece!

Years after this album came out,Phyllis was performing a concert and decided to take audience requests. When one guy shouted "Riding The Tiger!",Phyllis got pissed and threatened to kick his ass, lol. She hated this song with a passion.

Oh yes,his liner notes are legendary! I just bought Deniece Williams' 'Niecy' remaster and Bill Withers' '+Justments' remaster, and Scott's liner notes are just incredible.

this album pales in comparison to CWFILA but any remastering of Phyllis' work is a great thing in my book.

I was on ebay the other day & her "Sing A Song" album on cd was going for . . . $800 eyepop
