The Music of Michel Colombier (w/ Earth Wind and Fire, Herbie Hancock, Phil Perry, etc.) ...
Just revisiting the work of the late composer/ arranger/keyboardist Michel Colombier. Many people here will recognize him as the composer of the incidental music in Purple Rain, but he first gained notoriety in the 60's as an exciting composer and collaborator with Avant Garde composer Pierre Henry (one of their famous 60's compositions , "Psyche Rock" would later be used as the theme to the animated series "Futurama"). I didn't know he went back this far and worked with so many icons. This was and always will be one of may favs.
