I've seen this, and although parts-o-me feel it's one of Patti's lackluster performances, I still love it. After all the backbiting Diana did to so many folks of her generation (esp. to the Blubells), I think it was very big of Patti to turn up at Diane's tribute...and turn her songs out...
...how ironic Patti is up there singing It's My Turn after all the tales of Diana being so brutal to her and the other girls when they were younger...and knowing back then (or even now), you never say anything against the most popular one who has the most power...yup, I would say her singing "It's My Turn" was rather fitting for this time in their lives | |
