Alicia Keys Headlines Essence Music Festival 
February 23, 2010 Grammy-winner and multi-platinum superstar Alicia Keys is the latest headliner announced for the 2010 ESSENCE Music Festival set for July 3 and 4 in New Orleans. The gifted artist joins an all-star line-up, from nine-time Grammy Award-Winning singer Mary J. Blige, who is the official spokesperson of the 16 annual festival of entertainment and empowerment to new artist Keri Hilson. Also on the bill is R&B cutie Trey Songz, gospel singer Mary Mary, rapper LL Cool J, Mint Condition, Raphael Saadiq, Charlie Wilson, Melanie Fiona, Lalah Hathaway, Gladys Knight, Joe and Laura Izibor. http://essencemusicfestival.com/ | |

Well lets be real you have to sell tickets and as great a lineup that is, although i still dont understand the love affair the rb world has with trey songz, Alicia is on this bill to put asses in seats. And how did no one mention Keri Hilson? we arent saying she is a good singer now are we?
