Sorry, but the only thing EW&F about that tune is the horn rip.

Clarke only does the bass solo according to the credits. I think its a pretty cool track. Not great, but good. Some guy named Donnie Gerrard did the vocals. Never heard of the guy? And the horns are great. No messing with Jerry Hey, Larry Williams etc.. those guys were everywhere. | |

Donny was a member of Skylark. They are best known for their hit Wildflower, a song later covered by New Birth. Donny in action, Wildflower The Long And Winding Road Darlin' On the Org since 2005.

I don't own any Skylark (they only made 2 albums I think?), but David Foster mentioned him in his autobiography. Duh, I knew I must of heard thst name somewhere. Thanks! | |
