I don't remember this one but I like it better than all their other songs because it's funkier. The first time I remember hearing DeBarge was in 1982.

The first time I heard DeBarge was in 1982,...the single "Stop! Don't Tease Me",which was their very first single,if I'm not mistaken.

. . . [Edited 1/24/10 9:25am] This was released when Motown didn't know what to do with them. I think Jermaine produced this... After about a year, they gave the family (mainly El) and Iris Gordy the production on the next record, the one where people really got to know them (1982).

Now that I think about it, that IS El on "Strange Romance" (he was only 19, 20 at the time). "What's Your Name" was sung by Randy (and El). [Edited 1/24/10 11:05am]

That album never went to Cd either and I think the version of "Share My World" is a lil' bit different (production wise) than the version heard on the compilation cds. Script had mentioned this once and she was right.

I used to have it at one time, but I can't find it to save my life. http://www.amazon.com/gp/...e=&seller= **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Yeah, it's hard to determine which of them is singing lead sometimes. I just always imagine it's El, even if it's Randy. Does anyone have this in high quality MP3 format? I can't find this track anywhere, unless I pay $80 for the album on Amazon, which is not happening, lol. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee
