TA, your thread title is misleading. If you want to discuss Rosie Perez's involvement in the music industry, why didn't you say so?!?

BTW, remember THIS?:

THIS^ is my all-time favorite Rosie Perez moment. Dancing to a Public Enemy track at that. biggrin

I loved this 12" single. I'd listen to every version, dub, and bonus beats on it. Just loved it. Still do. It's one of the first songs I bought on iTunes when it came to the Windoze side in 2002.

The first RFTW album was on point. Each song was the jam and at the time I thought tracks like ceramic girl, digital display and i'm the one who loves you were unbeatable.

Makes me wanna dust off the vinyl of all the 12"s and listen to them again.

Thanks

Wow, and I thought I was the only one who dug those tracks. "Ceramic Girl" and "I'm The One Who Loves You" were my favorites, in spite of them being album cuts.

Digital Display was one of their first singles wasn't it? That was a great jam too.

As much musical knowledge as you drop around here, you're entitled to at least one totally frivolous, purely self-indulgent, wiggle-fest! lol

Enjoy!

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Here in Australia Ceramic Girl was released as a 12" single - good remixes for its time.

That's one of my favorite 12 Inches of the late 1980s also. Those bonus beats are great for mixing. Goes great with Jesse Johnson's "Be Your Man" and "Free World".

For starters...the reigning Queen of the Wiggly! I may not care for her much...but when it comes to...the fine AND the wiggly...specifically! I simply must give credit...where it is indeed due!
