Faith Evans' New Studio Album, Reality Series February 8, 2010 E1 Television and E1 Music are partnering with recording artist Faith Evans to release a new studio album and reality series, 'It's All About Faith'. E1 Television, in partnership with Evans and Ten2One Entertainment, will chronicle the singer's return to music after a five-year hiatus. The show will feature a glimpse into her home life as she balances raising four children with her husband/manager and trying to get her career back off the ground. Simultaneously, Evans has been recording new material for her sixth studio album on her imprint, Prolific Music Group, to be distributed by E1 Music. “Working with Faith on her new highly anticipated album and this compelling reality series is a perfect example of how E1 Entertainment is implementing its strategy of utilizing its three business pillars—television, film and music,” said John Morayniss, the CEO of E1 Television. “We’re excited to be able to offer artists working in multiple creative fields and disciplines the opportunity to partner with E1 in all of our complimentary businesses. Ultimately, this allows us to help them reach the largest possible audience around the world.” Evans added, “2010 is shaping up to be an amazing year for me! To be in a place where I have grown from an entertainer to an entrepreneur is truly a blessing. I am excited to share this incredible experience with my fans and the world.” http://www.worldscreen.co...play/24282 [Edited 2/8/10 16:40pm]

Frankly, I'm more exciting about her new recording project, as it's been 5 long years since "The First Lady" album on Capitol.

They gonna show her toking up. She always looked high in her vids "Lack of home training crosses all boundaries."

Why the hell does she need a reality series to sell an album for? I just think it takes away from the aurora of the album to have a reality show showcasing you recording it. It takes the mystery out of it. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I guess this is the new wave of the future. Lay off from work for a few years...record a new album and then a reality show. I heard Brandy is doing the same thing and Fantasia has one right now.

Faith Evans? Dull subject matter.

As soon as I read 'reality series' I lost what little interest I had. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Don't forget Monica. Personally, I blame Making The Band.

BINGO. Dull for what, a reality series? Her autobiography I read a year ago wasn't dull.

I know it's a wasted wish but I hope this isn't loaded down with Rappers. I loved First Lady. There was some seriously kickass music on that album 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

It was published in August 2008, which means she wrote it in 2007 probably. The reality show was probably filmed late last year. That was then, this is now. I can't see it being interesting at all.

Woo boy *sigh!* I'ma leave it alone I'm with missfee on this one though, it seems that 'reality TV' took the seat of actual promoting for some artists,,,and if you guys are fimiliar with Faye's history, you know the broad doesn't put her foot down when it comes to promoting her albums,,,,,hell, she never even headlined a tour(even when was under demand) To hear her tell it, it seems that her life is wrapped up around her children's daily routine and I can't be mad at that. But I know this, I'm SO hyped about the album she went to the lab with Chucky Thompson and you know they cooked up something worthwhile.

Her day to day life might not be as interesting as 30 years of history to that point that she wrote a book about everything in her life. Most of these reality shows aren't anything to write home about.

I'm looking forward to Faith's new album more than this reality show, that's for sure.
I don't get why so many are doing reality shows either, but I guess it's a good way for entertainers to get back into the spotlight. I've always liked Faith and her music though. She can really sing. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ
"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always

Yea she's one of my favorite female singers. She is so underrated, it ain't even funny. This reality show, I look at it like, she needs to do what she thinks (more exactly, her people in the biz think) needs to be done to maintain her music career and unfortunately, the work involves putting herself out there... I don't think she likes the idea. No one, besides some obvious media whores, ever feels comfortable with the camera on their and their loved ones' personal lives, even though it is not 100% real. Faith Evans Talks New Album, 'Worth The Wait'
Feb 17, 2010 With an over five year break from music, you might think "Can't Believe" and "You Gets No Love" singer Faith Evans would be concerned about the condition of the industry and competition. According to Evans, there is no need to be apprehensive. "I don't feel apprehensive at all. There are a group of people out there, no matter how big or small that are waiting for my record," Evans tells BV Buzz. "When people see me out at the baseball games and at the grocery stores, they inquire about my music and that makes me feel good. It lets me know that they're still waiting and that makes me excited." Fast at work on a new album, Evans says the wait will be well worth it. "I work based on my heart and how people make me feel," said Evans. "And I'm believing 100 percent that it will be well worth the wait." As previously reported, Faith Evans will release the as-yet-untitled sixth studio album through E1 Music and her label Prolific Music Group. http://www.singersroom.co...h-The-Wait
