Yes, I too would love to hear Janet cover "Missing You," but I want her to sing it just like Ms. Ross, meaning, without layers and layers of simultaneous filler background voices during the verses. Do you know any songs by Miss Ross that's similar to "Missing You"? I've never dug into Diana's catalog so I don't know but I plan on listening to more of her music. SOS - I'm familiar with the tune and know it goes more uptempo in the latter half, but still the first part puts me off. I take it you never heard of a song entitled Cassanova Brown. If you really want to know the kind of power vocalist Teena really is, listen to THAT track. Don't try to school me, son.  I know and like a good portion of her music. | |

That's one of my favorite Diana songs, but I'm still going with Teena. I especially love the second half of the song. I can totally understand the criticism of her vocals, though. She's an acquired taste, I guess. | |
