Lammastide said: Ella Elle L'a - I don't altogether dislike it, but I can see the problem sextonseven has with it. This reminds me of Joni Mitchell's sound at the time -- sort of that canned mid-80s synthesizia. (...Yeah, I made up that word. )
I think every artist must have gone through this phase when they were trying to be trendy again with a come-back album! It was very "now" at the time though

Gawd, I am such a twat. I liked the silliness of Amaola, so I got a sort of Greatest Hits. It's grrrreat! It can fit straight in with my Ultra Lounge series! Thanks! >>

Nice eclectic mix of music.
The guitar player in me makes The Spotniks tune my favorite. The composition is dated and campy sounding for sure, but simultaneously the playing has a level of skill attached. Music for adventurous listeners tA Tribal Records "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

Amapola - For some reason this one won't play for me
Norwegian Wood - This is a nice song. It has that very nice, mellow soud that is signature 60's. I'm not a Beatles fan, but this is pleasent. Education Sentimentale - I like how simple this is. Very Relaxing vibe to this song. The First Time I Saw Your Face - Roberta Flack has a beautiful voice, and it is well showcased here. These lyrics are lovely as well. The really low parts of the song are annoying though I find myself pushing my earbuds into my ears. Radar Love - This song was just the pick-up I needed after the last couple! I have always enjoyed this song. Rock was so cool in the 70's. Porque Te Vas - I adore the horns here and the singer's voice is just divine. I can tell this will probably be my favorite song on your mix! Honey Honey - I've never heard ABBA sing in Swedish Very nice. It's impossible not to smile when listening to them. They could make a song about rabid dogs sound happy. I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You - This song is groovy. I like the intro a lot. Toccata by the Sky - This should be in a silent horror film During the chase scene! Ella, elle - Though, this was not bad, I really did not notice that this song was on. It didn't seem to fit with the rest of the mix for some reason. If you will, so will I
