Why is I can only upload eight tracks onto 8tracks (doh) but you have ten? you can only upload 8 at a time, once those are up, add 2 more

Some of the songs there kind of fit if I were looking at old family photos from the 70s. Of course I wasn't born then but the images seem to fit the sounds, at least in my head. That song "Toccata" actually takes ME back, one of those songs that I must have heard when I was a little kid and I get a certain "dèja vu" feeling when I hear them many many years later. I would very much like to make my own mix-tape with those "dèja vu" songs when the next round arrives. I was surprised to know the last song on the list... but I only knew the Euro-dance version by Kate Ryan that was popular over here a year ago. I didn't like that one much but the original is a bit more enjoyable IMO... The Euro-dance version for comparison: that's so wrong

I love the way all the songs flow together perfectly to create a mood. It's funny, awhile ago I was watching the vampire film, "Let The Right One In", and when I heard this music, I immediately thought of that kind of snow-covered urban landscape....don't know why, but that 's the first visual image I got...not for the film's subject matter, --just the mood of the setting... ... Amopola - Ineteresting. I really felt this could have been on some 60s gameshow/sitcom. I'm assuming it's around that era but funny how certain sounds were able to make their way round the world.
Norweigen woods - Universality. Songs that were listened to everywhere. I remember hearing this as a child in my grandmother's house Education Sentimentale - Can't comment on the lyrics because I don't understand them But I love the melody and the harmonies….Sentimental Education. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - NO YOU DIDN'T Oh my god, you have no idea how this song can make me totally weep This is one of the most beatiful songs ever created. The imagery created in each lyric are grand, creationistic, galactical and eternal in nature. This song really underscores how powerful a song can be sung without over the top Beyonceisms or Mariahness. Simply and stunningly sung straight from the heart with this most glorious orchestration. I am shining like the sun right now Interesting, that the version on the "best of" is a total edit. It's really nice to hear this song in its entirety Radar Love - Love this song. Fascinating switch of Gears from Roberta Flack. Not sure if there was any intention with that but it really sets a contrast on both sides. My favorite part of this song is the guitar/horn blowout in the middle You just have to miss music with these kinds of transitions in them. Porque Te Vas - I love this. Makes me reflect on my affinity for Latin/South American culture and the people. Honey Honey - FINALLY! I was waiting for Abba to make an appearance. Knew they'd have to be on this mix Talk about Childhood memories. How fascinating to think of their impact on their native country and the peoples from that area. Do you consider them any kind of musical heroes? They were so HUGE for me. I loved their music as a kid. This reminds me, I need to buy their stuff. Don't own anything now but remember everything from them when I was a kid and listened to them in my house. How lovely to submit the song in their native tongue I wouldn't want to be like you - Interesting to hear this song through the ears of a child. Such a rich tapestry of sounds and I can see why you'd be captivated. Tocatta Ok Dracula Again, I can hear the appeal to a child. Constant movement just like a small mind. For some reason I can see you doing all your creative activities to this song Ella, elle l'aWhat is interesting about this song is this is the 4th languages up in this mix. How one sided is the average American music experience? I'm really surprised by this mix for some reason, there is something totally universal about it. I thought I would have zero connection to it but there was so much about it that brought back memories in my own music life with my parents. This mix is very comforting to me, in that it brought you comfort in a time in your life where there was fear and confusion. Just goes to show the power of music Oh, at first I thought that was a picture of your parents and I thought damn, her parents look like they are from Abba! Great mix 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Great mix Thank you Richard Kids CAN like interesting music there were no wiggles when we where little, so we had to make do with the real thing. I lived in 3 different countries and at one stage spoke 3 languages fluently (spanish and french not amongst them) and I guess in Europe despite the pervasiveness of English in pop music, every now and again a german or spanish or french song would top the charts and we probably didn't bat an eyelid! and at my folks look like ABBA I STILL like dramatic chord changes and layer upon layer of "texture" and changing rhythms - somebody really should have introduced me to prog rock that's something that hasn't changed in growing up. I love the drummer from Jupiter One because he never plays boring
