You know what is so interesting about what he's talking about here? How if he had revealed that he was black in 1960 how his career wouldn't have taken off until after he established himself. Black artists definitely had it rough when it came to conquering the crossover.

50 years later, and radio/charts are still segregated.

I'm not that much fimiliar with New Orleans' R&B scene as much as I should be,,,,T4P Mr.Jamal.

Scary to say i think the segregation is much worse and obvious now
