For some reason Prince's, "God Created Woman", always reminds me of this song... "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

I feel she was born on the wrong side of the atlantic & at the wrong time, she can throw down with the Aretha's & Chaka's of this world but got lost in record company politics. her best work can be heard on numerous b sides & remixes from the "Contribution" & "Whisper A Prayer" era Life has a way of making you live it. . . .

Always liked Mica. I listen to her version of "You Put A Move On My Heart" far more than the Tamia take.
Saw her & some of her family with Gordo on "The F Word" earlier this year....seemed like nice folks. Funk Is It's Own Reward

I saw her live in London about 2 weeks ago in a small venue (a friend of mine plays in her band). It's a crying shame why she's not been more successful - she's an incredible singer. Great tone, superb phrasing and a great sense of dynamics...and her licks are so tasteful.
