Rock & roll is alive and it lives in..... Nashville? That's where Kings of Leon come from. If there is a better band out there at the moment I have not heard them.
P.S. The second song "Ragoo" is a funky reggae track. Use Somebody Ragoo Sex On Fire “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

Been a fan since their first album. They've always been big here in the UK and it's great to see them having some wider success and it's even better to see a record label giving a band a chance to mature. Having said that though their last album Only By The Night was terrible compared to the others. Way too whiny, so much so that i've hardly play it. The others i almost wore out! [Edited 2/3/10 9:26am] Yeah, I heard them a few years ago and thought what a great sound they had. I wish I'd have heard a bit more though so I could've checked them out sooner. These days it's rare that I go out of my way to explore new acts because for every ten I check out I may only really like one. It wasn't until I heard them doing "Use Somebody" on Jools Holland that I knew these guys were SERIOUSLY good! From what I understand they were operating outside of the traditional industry for a long time so all those great songs were going unheard by the wider public. Even now they're an uncomfortable fit in the mainstream because they ooze that most unfashionable trait.... INTEGRITY! I suppose it'll all be downhill from here though (here's hoping I'm wrong). “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”
