I thought about them. Maybe they should've changed their name to Ready for the Curl.

Speaking of bands, Full Force was all about the activator.

This topic reminds me of that 1983 Mary Jane Girls song "Boys",which features a spoken part near the end.They're at a nightclub,and one of them says "Check out that guy with the...jheri curl".Then,JoJo (lead singer) goes "Uh uh,wait a minute,you mean the SCARY CURL,look at that stuff drippin' all over his shirt!"

Oh,and by the way,I got a jheri curl two different times,the first time in 1984,then again in 1985.I remember standing in the mirror and shaking my curl like Michael Jackson does in the "Beat It" video...lol...I thought I was so baaad!
