Shit I didn't even have to SEE it I was actually IMAGINING it as his part came up. It's one thing if he did this in 2004 (and I didn't approve of it then) but it's 2010, almost six years later since "Ray" and he's still sucking Ray's ghostly dick. Ray has been trying to be nice from Heaven but I think if he asked God if he could smack Jamie Foxx in the head, God would allow him to.

WaterInYourBath said: I'm shocked. I'm really shocked. I usually never change my mind about things like this, but the quality of this remake is surprising. I assumed it would be horrible, but it really isn't. Definitely not a great as the original, but not bad either.
The only things I would change are: 1) Justin Bieber as the opening. 2) Jamie impersonating Ray Charles. And 3) The strange combination-editing they did with Michael and Janet. They could have made that part much better. [Edited 2/12/10 20:21pm] Agreed-but it's just barely ok. I will never own it-not unless the single comes with a b side Prince song. They should also get rid of lilwayne and the auto tune. (and perhaps 1 or 2 other so called singers.) Pink was great. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

P!nk and Celine were good. but OH MY GOD. what a mess. Poor Janet! they didn't even use her! The auto tune rap fest was a mess, and JUSTIN BIEBER! BARF
I was suprisinly okay with Miley. but unlike the 80s version, this one has barely any superstars. while the 85 version was full of people who had lasting legacies. this one should have had: Christina, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Sade, Adele, not a bunch of b list nobodies. Nichole Sherziner? REALLY?!? 2012: The Queen Returns

This song just cemented how horrible this generation of music is. What an embarrassment for Quincy Jones or Lionel to even get talked into this crap. I need a shower after that. I feel dirty now.

It wasn't as bad as i thought it would be after reading the comments...it's just that i only know a few of the people singing....who are the other ones???
Never really was a fan of the song in the first place, but at least it was great to see all those stars together in the 80's version/

They all were horrible except for PINK. I thought more from Celine and Barbra. It was nothing but a HOT MESS. And those damned rappers? This shows you how the state of music has become since the original. Michael is probably turning in his grave.
