Question almost becomes "what doesn't make your ears bleed?," for me, as far as new music goes. I would say about 90% of new music is pure shite! (hopefully that doesnt sound as vulgar as the lay term). I can't even believe that people enjoy 98% of the crap on the radio! The stuff that isn't on the radio, but just the newer releases I have heard are crap from 90% of the people out there! Seems many of the best bands, musicians doing it on their own, w/o big record deals. Hear some good music from local acts in local bars around the world, far better than 98% of crap exposed to on radio, vidoe, or via "mass" media. If U do get to hear someone different it is usually via a web site that band or musician created, or is using to promote their music. | |

Radio doesn't seem like what it used to be. It seems a local station used to play a lot of variety. Nowadays, they just play what is already a hit, which means repetitious playback of songs we heard in the previous hour. So, hearing repeated songs hour after hour makes my ears "bleed". | |
