How many of us heard this song in 1984 and thought "Finally....a female Jackson who can actually sing!"

I only found out in recent years that Martha was on that song. That definately explains why it sounds so good.

Wake up. Look at the people Sheryl Crow talked about singing background for, and the producer asked her to "just sing a line, and try singing it like the artist", and then she ended up hearing her lead vocals on someone else's album, because the "artist" in question couldn't sing.
