Lets give some love to The Doobie Brothers I mean just for being on Whats Happening they get props over alot of groups, but if they came out today, the "talk" would be bunch of white guys trying to be black, same goes for Hall and Oates, that "hidden" racism and segregation that exits more now than ever "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F | |

Great band. They had a southern rock type vibe when Tom Johnston sang for them and by the end of the 70's they picked up a smooth R&B sound thanks to Micheal McDonald. But both eras of the Doobies were great.
That's a group that needs a boxset anthology. | |
