I'm so glad they're making a documentary for the man. He's def one of the unsung genuises in music(and I don't say that about anybody sense credibility is thrown loosely nowadays)
He's def one of my top 5 arrangers/producers. The stuff he did for EW&F are great, but he truly showed off his chops in Minnie Riperton's Come To My Garden. T4P. | |

Wow,,,,thats heavy. I didn't know the family's condition and what happend to them and on his VERY passing day at that, I wanna say I'm shocked but stuff like these are not strange coming from some of the industry people. | |

Check out this scene from the 1975 movie 'That's The Way Of The World'.This is a Charles Stepney composition that's being recorded by the fictional group "The Paiges".Although it's supposed to be considered cheesy,I actually like this song

Someone who definitely deserves acknowledgement as one of the great "behind the scenes" musical entities.
