Legalsounds, Mp3Feista and other Russian sites...use them?

I have to be 100% honest. I was looking for Prince NPGMC exclusive albums like "Chocolate Invasion" and "The Slaughterhouse" that I missed out on because I was weak! And I knew I wouldn't find them legally. I don't use torrents and I'm not even sure what they are. But then I found something I'm also not familar with but have heard about....and I heard about it on "The Office". Anyone remember the episode where Dwight crashes his car into a gate and gets a concussion but becomes really kind? Well he recommends to Pam a site where you can download songs for 9 cents each....and they do exsist! And they sell rare ass stuff, like those albums I mentioned. Now don't tell Prince, but I want those albums (hell, if he would sell me the downloads or better yet psychical copies, I would gladly buy them). And for mainstream stuff, it also beats the hell out of Itunes...you can buy albums for the same price of the single...maybe less!

So have people tried them. I read about them and how their legality is questionable outside of Russia. I also heard that if you don't use your credits right away, they might get deleted. But has anyone tried them and what do you think? I think it at least gives me better piece of mind about supporting artists rather than using totally free torrents, which DEFINITELY don't help the artists.

This is why I got Web of Trust. MP3Fiesta is trouble I know that. Don't know about LegalSounds but that could be a red flag too.

I just added it on in case I do use one or both sites. I'm very tempted to try both and in each case making only a small contribution and using my credits as soon as possible. MP3Fiesta has more variety but the sound clips are lousy in quality!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the Russian based websites are only legal in Russia only. I found this blog article which explains in abit more detail here
